This wonderful traditional handcrafted doll was created by the late Ruthelle Kingeekuk, a Siberian Yupik Eskimo from Savoonga, Alaska. Ruthelle was a renowned Alaska doll maker and her work is highly collectable. Ruthelle sewed the man's kuspuk and mukluks from seal skin and sheared beaver using polar bear fur for trim.
