Yupik artist Margaret Iquyuilnguq Abraham-Stiefel created this wonderful doll engaged in a traditional Yupik dance with fans. The woman wears a cotton hand-embroidered Kuspuk - traditional clothing worn by Alaskan Natives from theYukon-Kuskokwim Delta region. Her headpiece and mukluks are made from a variety of furs expertly stitched together. Her head and face are carved cottonwood. 

The doll is signed Cupik - Yupik on the bottom of the right foot mukluk.
