Tsimshian carver Blaz A. Horne created this exceptional Northwest Coast mask using two pieces of alder. The beautifully carved center face is encircled by a finely crafted eagle design detailed and given subtle texture by Blaz’s distinctive knife work. He has also added contrasting features with copper inlay and reddish brown acrylic pigment to complete this beautiful, one-of-a-kind mask.
