Flossie Iqilan Spencer, Inupiaq, hand-stitched these large polar bear fur mittens. The full-fur back mitten has a Naugahyde palm of hand section with fur covering the entire top of the hand and forearm.  Flossie trimmed the mitts with a sea otter fur accent. They are lined with cotton flannel. Flossie used fur given to her by her cousin, a whaling captain and polar bear hunter.

Beautiful as a display piece or choose to wear them - as these mittens will provide enhanced warmth and protection from the cold winter elements.
