This depiction of a Killer Whale may pay homage to Israel's father’s clan – the Kaawaantann people. His use of NWC formline can been seen in the carved and painted body, dorsal fin and faces combined to create this masterful work. A floral design depicts the water coming from the spout of the whale.
This wonderful work, created in 2006, is a rare find. The panel comes with a stand or it may be hung on the wall.
