Tsimshian carver Mark Sixbey created this small bentwood box from yellow cedar. Mark kerfed, steamed and bent the cedar and painted elements of an original Northwest Coast eagle design on three sides and a sun on the fourth side with inlaid abalone accents. The piece is signed on the bottom.
