Raven

Haida artist Pat Dixon carved this wonderful argilite Northwest Coast raven. Born in Haid Gwaii, British Columbia, Canada, Pat was a member of the Eagle clan. He began carving a young age. In 1966, he moved to Vancouver, BC, where he began working with Haida carver, Pat McGuire. Pat became an established argillite carver creating totem poles, platters, sculptures, and jewellery. He passed away on January 17, 2015.
